Divine Purpose & Destiny:

Talein is known for her angelic voice and explosive stage presence. However, there is more to her than just a song and a voice. It was evident at a young age that she was going to be a woman of purpose and destiny. God has birthed the vision of Divine LifeStyle as a non-profit ministry that will minister to young women and women all over the world the healing word of God.

The Testimony:

I was in a very tumultuous time in my life, where I needed divine order. I knew my life was out of control. I was going through some painful situations I knew ONLY GOD could handle. I prayed and asked HIM for divine order in my life. I did not understand at the time what I was asking for nor did I realize the process it would take for that to happen in my life. I understood I had two children that depended on me. It resonated in my spirit, "God has given me charge to be a good steward of their souls". They would learn through me how to know, love, and share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others. That was my driving force to get myself together. Get stronger in the Word of God, pray, and surround myself with people who had purpose and destiny on their lives. It was truly the power and grace of God that kept me and raised my broken spirit from the dead. I watched God prune, shed, rebuke, restore, and restructor my life to what it is today. The wonderful thing is that I am still a work in progress being molded by the master potter Jesus Christ. No my life is not perfect, I still have challenges, but at the end of the day I am victorious through Christ Jesus. My lifestyle is one of worship unto the Lord. HIS word is what completes me and I am certain that I am on the right path to the destiny HE has for my life.

One day God was giving me titles of sermons, books, and seminars. HE revealed to me the state of women and they needed to know who they are in HIM. Why are our young ladies having sex at age 8? Why are women dying of AIDS/HIV at alarming rates? The clothing industry creates clothes that show it all and leave no mystery of what is to be shared with your husband. Listening to music that degrades you to the point you believe you are every vulgar and obscene word poetically rapped and sung. This is what shapes the young minds of our young ladies. My heart is to teach them what it means to be a woman of God who is valued and precious in HIS sight. I have gone through every trial and situation in my life to help others get their lifestyle in divine order with HIS word. The name Divine LifeStyle came from that encounter with God and the birthing of Divine LifeStyle is now a vision becoming a reality. In society today young women are not being taught Godly principles. It is important to exemplify being a youngwoman with values, standards, morals, healthy level of self-esteem, and a dream to succeed. This is what we need to replicate. The ministry is dedicated to teaching, preaching, sharing, and living by example to helping others to make sure their lifestyle is reflective of Christ. Being a Christian means you must live a lifestyle of a servant and a follower of Jesus Christ. As we take this journey together remember God has a purpose for your life and ultimately it is a life that is divinely designed by HIM.

Talein, born Kia Talein Anderson, is a multi-talented woman on a mission to share her gifts and talents with the world. Talein’s latest endeavor is her non-profit ministry Divine LifeStyle. As an eloquent speaker and gifted writer for many years her talents prove again to inspire others to live a lifestyle that is pure, honest, encouraging and uplifting. Her internet Podcast show Divine LifeStyle is broadcasting on iTunes. Her heart for young women did not stop when she was reigning as Miss Black Maryland in 1992 and First Runner-Up Miss Black USA 1993. This summer Talein is conducting her Divine LifeStyle Summer Enrichment 2008 for young ladies ages 8-16. Extremely passionate about mentoring young women, Talein discusses self-esteem, life choices, and is an advocate of Abstinence and HIV/AID’s education. She continues to speak out on pre-marital sex, drugs, violence, and alternative lifestyles in the Christian community and the world.

Divine LifeStyle Summer Enrichment 2009 is for young ladies ages 8-16.  It is packed with inspirational teaching and is biblically based and taught by its founder Talein.  Talein is a multi-talented recording artist, songwriter, entrepreneur, speaker, wife and mother.  She has a heart for young women from all walks of life to become the very best, God’s best.  Talein’s intensive background in the entertainment industry, pageants, and ministry are all packed in every enrichment session.  Her passion to help others and teach them to keep God first, follow their dreams, love themselves, and help others are evident in this program designed by her and inspired by God.
